A Library for New
Mothers
Congratulations on the
birth of your new baby! One of the best things you can do
for your baby is to read to him or her. Even though they
may not be able to understand the words yet, they love to
hear the sound of your voice, listen to the rhythm of the
words, and look at the pictures. The time you spend
cuddling together over a good book is unforgettable. When
my daughter was born, I had no idea which books would be
good to read to her, but I found some lists of
recommended stories for babies. The board books below
were (and still are) some of our favorites. I hope this
list helps you! Happy reading!
